Hello DUST2 membership!

We hope you are staying healthy and finding time to ride bikes in these crazy times.

This post is an official kickoff of group rides for the season (see the list below) along with some clarifications on questions we have been receiving around DUST2 membership running through IMBA starting this year. We apologize for any confusion and miscommunication on that front. Due to the pandemic and social restrictions we have been working to figure out what we can and can’t do while also learning a new way to sign up members. Please reach out if you have any questions.

**** DUST2 is now a member of IMBA and is running our membership through them. Please make sure you look for communication from IMBA about DUST2 events as we will be transitioning to using their platform to send out info. If you have not renewed your membership yet for 2020, you can do so here: https://www.imba.com/join (just make sure to put DUST2 as the Chapter when you sign up). We have also put together a Post answering some questions about our move to IMBA. *****

Events are starting for the year!
For all events, please make sure to do your part to follow the state’s social distancing regulations. This mainly means that if we have more than 10 people show up for an event, we will need to split into several groups.
  • Trailwork is starting for the season! Monday (tonight) at 6:00 pm at Reservoir Hill. Meet at the main parking area. Bring water, a snack, work gloves, good shoes and layers. DUST2 will provide the tools. Let’s dig in!
  • Tuesday night mountain bike ride will meet at Pagosa Mountain Sports at 6:15 pm. We will be riding on Reservoir Hill and at Dakota Springs. There will be a guys group and a girls group (split into several groups if there are more than 10 in either group). The guys ride is an intermediate ride and the girls ride is beginner/intermediate.
  • We are looking to start Club Road Rides. Please fill out our Road Ride survey to give us some feedback on what days and times work best. We also need ride leaders for road rides. It is not as intimidating as it sounds and we are happy to provide support if you are interested.
As always, please let us know if you have any questions or comments! Thank you for your patience as we navigate these new changes. See you out on the road and trails!
